Selenite 'Window' Slab

Selenite is one of the most important tools in any energy worker or crystal lover’s collection. Contrary to satin spar Selenite (more popular in the market with a fibrous crystal look and feel), Selenite forms in window slabs and have been used for centuries in cleansing and protecting grids and rituals. The clear plates of Selenite were also used for windows by the ancient Greeks and Romans and the church of Santa Sabina in Rome still has its original Selenite windows. 

The Greeks named this stone after the Moon goddess Selene, who is said to be capable of awakening intuition and bringing psychic visions and vivid dreams.

✧ Chakra: Selenite is primarily connected to the higher chakras, which include the third eye chakra, crown chakra, and higher crown chakras. These chakras are associated with spiritual work, divine inspiration, and a deep connection to the higher realms. 

✧ Cleaning: As this is Selenite, we don’t recommend washing this in water. Cleanse with other elements, but do not try and clean.

✧ Storage: This crystal is self standing.It can be placed in any space that you desire an energetic, shift tapping into manifestation 

✧ Handling: Although durable, Selenite can break if dropped. Handle with care.

✧ Charging and Cleansing: If desired, place under moonlight to charge or near selenite to cleanse; this helps the crystal maintain its natural energy. Too, smoke from incense, palo santo or sage work as well.

✧ Caution: While you can charge this crystal under sun and water, avoid prolonged exposure to sun to preserve its natural colour and only place it under water if it’s water safe.Ensure only to use water for water safe crystals such as quartz, amethysts, jaspers, citrine, calcite, moonstone, agates, chalcedonies. Avoid putting crystals in water that end in ‘ite’ (selenite, celestite etc).
